William T. “Bill” May is an aggressive litigator who has over 33 years of experience in State and Federal Courts in Mississippi. He has successfully tried jury trials and cases to conclusions resulting in verdicts awarding substantial recoveries for Plaintiffs and defends the interests of individuals and businesses. He has extensive trial experience in Courts throughout the State of Mississippi as reflected by his membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Mr. May has earned an “AV” pre-eminent peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell evidencing the highest ethical commitment and legal knowledge for an attorney. Mr. May graduated with Bachelor and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Mississippi. He has served in leadership positions of the Mississippi Association for Justice and is a Fellow of the Mississippi Bar Association. He is a member of the Newton and Lauderdale County Bar Associations, the American Bar Association and a lifetime member of the Mississippi Association for Justice. Mr. May has served as National President of the Ole Miss Alumni Association and President of the Ole Miss Law Alumni Chapter. He has enjoyed serving in numerous leadership positions with civic and community organizations in Lauderdale and Newton Counties. Mr. May has three daughters and five grandchildren and is an avid follower of Southeastern Conference sports. |
